Louis Theroux does Philly

I like this guy. Has a way of making the reality of what you're watching shine through by constantly being awkward and asking half-baked questions. He did a good one a few years back on UFO nuts. As far as I can remember he tried to just drive into Groom Lake with with a camera crew. Laughs all around.

Proof that Math Sucks

I knew it! I've been saying this for years. Math will drive you crazy. It's scientifically proven. This documentary helps illustrate a few of the dangers that math poses to society while highlighting four victims who, like many hundreds of thousands of others, were driven completely and utterly mad attempting to work through an equation. So remember, the next time you come in contact with an irrational number avert your eyes and contact a licensed geomancer.

I'm not really sure why Boltzmann is in this. Seems out of place.

Kevin Bacon will save us all

Determinists eat your heart out. Good documentary all round. Has the (apparently) mandatory movie-phone guy narration and it goes out of it's way to hype itself. But it's really not as bad as most TV produced docs; even ones that have far more english people in them. I think I've discovered the magic equation that determines the success or failure of any Tv produced documentaries.

ANVIL! The Story of Anvil

Quite possibly one of the best documentaries I've seen in ages. It isn't until about halfway through the movie that you start to realize that it isn't just "Spinal Tap: the lost tapes". Really just fantastic, highly recommended.

The Ascent of Money

Ok, now that I know I can get this to work. Here's something I just finished working my way through. It's a long one; but if your understanding of the rudiments of the financial system are as poor as mine it's definitely worth the watch. Oh, and for those just starting out: the narration does get better!

Test Run

Lets start with something simple

Lets Get the Ball Rolling

Alrighty here.
I have no clue what I'm doing, but I'm sure it cant be too hard. In my endless wasted hours scouring the treks of the internet I've run into quite a few pieces of media that i thought were worthwhile but subsequently forgot all about.  BUT NO LONGER!! And now I don't have to bug anybody with emails full of url's. If you're interested, you come to me. Anywho, i'll try to ferret out the good stuff; Presuming I can figure out how to actual post something.
